2781227 Lance Corporal George Bruce Green, 5th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, Age 21 from Granville NSW. Green, with 4 Platoon B Company was killed when an APC in which he was travelling struck a land mine during a search and destroy operation in mountainous jungle 17 kms south of the Task Force Base at Nui Dat in Phuoc Tuy on 21th February 1967. Eight other Australians were killed and 19 wounded.
