Mr. Stuart David Wampler, 87, of Fairlawn, VA went to be with his Lord at his home.

He was a Member of the Fairlawn Presbyterian Church for over 50 years.

He was born and raised in Russell County, VA by his late parents Clarence Augusta Wampler and Martha Janie Johnson Wampler, also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Edith Mattie Allen Wampler.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law Bonnie Bradberry and Bill Bradberry of Christiansburg, VA, Elaine Hite and David Hite of Dublin, VA, Teresa Vest and Rick Vest of Canton, GA, seven grandchildren and spouses, Amanda Little and Jake Little, David Shumate, Shawn Hite and Kim Hite, Ryan and Jamie Hite, Dexter Shumate, Ricky Vest, Jr and Tony Vest, four great-grandchildren Justin Hite, Joshua Mayer, Austin Hite, Camden Hite and two sisters Frances Wampler Gobble and Beulah Wampler Morris.

Funeral services were held at Fairlawn Presbyterian Church with Reverend Terry Woodard officiating.

Graveside services were held at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin, VA.

The family was served by Mullins Funeral Home in Radford, VA.
