Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. E. D. Roach officiating and the Rev. W. C. Grice assisting. Burial was in Gorham Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Acting as pallbearers were nephews, Troy, Willie, Tommy Jr., Floyd, Earl, and Leslie Fredericks [sic Frederick].
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lillie M. Fredericks [sic Frederick] of Winnfield; four sons, Arthur E., Jr., of Hobbs, N. M.; Charles of Odessa, Texas; Lamar of Winnfield; and James with the U.S. Air Force in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Earnestine Hammond and Mrs. John F. Silva of Winnfield; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Richard Gilcrease and Mrs. Jimmy Bemont, both of Winnfield, and Mrs. Mary Massey of Orange, Texas.
