HILLSVILLE — Patricia Goforth Tickle, age 62 of Hillsville passed away Friday May 6, 2005 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Ms. Tickle was a retired teacher from the Carroll County School System, a member of the Blue Ridge Country Club Ladies Golf Association and a member of Blue Ridge Lanes Monday Night Ladies Bowling League. She is survived by sons & daughters-in-law David & Susie Tickle and Mark & Denise Tickle both of Winston Salem, NC; daughter & son-in-law Susan & Randy Patton of Wytheville; six grandchildren Dean Tickle, Sydney Tickle, Lauren Tickle, Ashlyn Tickle, Daniel Patton and Isaac Patton; and brother Eddie Goforth of Moscow, Idaho. Funeral services will be Monday, May 9, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dublin United Methodist Church. Pastor Bobby Lorton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society 9 East Church Avenue Roanoke, VA 24011.
