OBITUARY
Mrs. Ophelia E. Kelleam, 75, of 314 E. Rosewood, died Tuesday at the Hugo Manor Rest Home. Services will be at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel Thursday at 10:30 am. Rev. Henry Everidge will officiate and burial will be in the Grant cemetery.

Mrs. Kelleam, daughter of Captain Joe Everidge and Bettie Wilson, was born in Lamar County, Texas on Feb 19, 1894. Her parents brought her to Grant when she was two weeks old.

She married Dr. E. A. Kelleam, one of the state's pioneer doctors and they lived in Choctaw and McCurtain counties for many years. After Dr. Kelleam's death in 1950, she moved from Wright City to Hugo and lived in this vicinity until her death.

Mrs. Kelleam was a member of Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors and Woodman Circle. She had held offices in all three lodges. She was a Presbyterian; however, she also served as pianist and organist for both the Methodist and Baptist Churches. She was Republican District Committeewoman for many years.

She is survived by a son, Joe E. Kelleam of Hugo and Garvin; a brother, Gunn Caston of Grant; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
