Henry served as a Private, Company P, 762nd Tank Battalion, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Fairfield County, Connecticut prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army on December 17, 1940, prior to the war, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a brick and stone mason and also as Single, without dependents.

Henry was "Killed In Action" in the Northern Mariana Islands during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Service # 11019927

He was originally interred in the 27th Division Cemetery in the Marianas Islands and was later repatriated here on June 14, 1949.
