After she and her husband retired from the music business, she owned and operated Cripple Creek Ceramics in Victoria for several years. In 1999, she retired from the ceramics business and moved to her family home in Bloomington, where she raised dogs and cared for the home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vlasta (Vickie White), and is survived by her husband, Tom; her father, Donovan White (Jo Annette) of Refugio; her sister, Linda Marek (Glen); her brother, Charlie White (Glenna); her brother, Billy White (Debbie); and several nieces and nephews, and her beloved Schnauzers.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in La Salle with the Rev. Johnson officiating. Inurnment will follow immediately at St. Theresa's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Texas.
