Bidabe, Martin Morales, Sr.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of the J.W. Sams & Sons Funeral Home, Tehachapi for Martin M. Bidabe Sr., who died April 15. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Malachys Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Francis Pointeck will officiate. Interment will be in the Tehachapi Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Bidabe, born in Sonora, Mexico, was a Tehachapi resident 44 years. He married Petra Jimenez Sept. 3, 1936 and was a repairman for 43 years at Monolith Cement Company. Survivors include the widow; 2 sons, Martin Jr., Bakersfield and Gerald, Tehachapi; 6 daughters, Patricia Garcia, San Francisco, Adeline Shanafelt, San Francisco, Madeline Vigna, San Jose, Marguerite Bidabe, Tehachapi, Suzanne Arotzerena, South San Francisco and Sylvia Bidabe, San Francisco; four brothers, Pedro, Los Angeles, Armando, Inglewood, Miguel, Nogales, Mexico and Bautista, Cananea, Mexico; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Robinson, Los Angeles; and 6 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Armando Bidabe, Domenique Arotzerena, Frank Vigna, Jess Jimenez, Agustine Canales, Joe Narez.
