She passed from this life at the age of 96 on April 24, 1971 at Crawford County Hospital in Van Buren. She died of Pneumonia.

She was the widow of Charles E. Norman.

Funeral services were held at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Thad Rudd officiating.
