She was born in 1925 at Burley, Idaho to Bulo Enzley Pickett and Gladys Valera Ward.
Leatrice was a Wave in the Navy during World War II and also served as a missionary for the LDS Church in Australia. Leatrice attended college at BYU and the University of Utah and worked for many years as a bookkeeper and comptroller. She was active in the LDS Church all her life.
She married her sweetheart, Lee Kent, in 1956 and they raised their family in Renton, Washington, where Lee worked for Boeing.
Leatrice is survived by sons Jeffrey of Ontario, California; Greg (Sylvia) of Lehi; Blair (Mary) of Camas, Washington; David (GerriAnn) of Marysville, Washington; Adam (Carrie) of American Fork; Tim (Lori) of Lehi; daughter Stacy of Kent, Washington; and step-children Linda (Mitch) Spencer of Palestine, Texas; Mark Kent (David Tarver), of Portland, Oregon; and Rodney Kent Jackson (Cathy) of Sandy; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah, on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., followed at 11:00 a.m. by Graveside Services and Interment at the Lehi City Cemetery in Lehi, Utah.
