SOWERS, Albert Lee, 87, of Radford, died Friday, December 15, 1995, in a Dublin nursing home. He was a retired employee of the Lynchburg Foundry Company. Surviving are his wife, Virgie May Sowers, Radford; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Marty Howard, Radford; son and daughter-in-law, Willie Lee and Katie Sowers, Radford; two sisters, Elizabeth Nance, Clinton, TN, and Mildred Chandler, Shawsville; one brother, Frank Sowers, Radford; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel, with Mr. A. Lowell Altizer officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
