Gordon H. Bahr, 76, of 3501 Park Lane Dr., died Tues., March 5, 1991.
He was born May 19, 1914 in Sheboygan WI, to Ferdinand and Emma (Gartmann) Bahr.
He married Harriet Sacia on July 16, 1939 at Kenosha.
He had been a teacher and coach at Central High School and Lincoln Jr. High School and was the Audio Visual Coordinator for the LaCrosse School District for five years prior to his retirement. During WW II he was the football coach for LaCrosse State College.
He is survived by a daughter, four sons, Fred of Waunakee, Gerald of Menomonie WI, Michael of LaCrosse; a brother, August Bahr of Ark.; eight grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by five sisters [Lydia, Dora] and five brothers [Oscar, Ferdinand, Chester].
Funeral sevices will be held on Sat. at 11 a.m. at Lewis Valley Lutheran Church. Rev. Robert Oleson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Dickinson Funeral Homes, Jackson Street Chapel, LaCrosse, on Fri. from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and at the church on Sat. from 10 a.m. until the service.
