Survivors include wife, Patty whom he married January 15, 1951; three sons, Mike (Diane) Forrest,Dave (Vickie) Forrest and Mark (Sally) Forrest, all of West Jefferson; seven grandchildren, Tim (Amy), Tricia (Levi), Heather (Jeff), Joe,Doug,Kristen and Ashley; three great grandchildren, Cody, Colton and Erica; two brothers, Donald Forrest of West Jefferson, Jim (Geri) Forrest of Lancaster, a sister, Mary Andrix of London; numerous nieces and nephews; good friends, Carl Runyan and Tom Laff. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister-in-law Bennett and Jane Forrest, a brother-in-law Jim Andrix and a sister-in-law Jean Forrest.
Family and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Tuesday in the RADER-McDONALD FUNERAL HOME, West Jefferson, where Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Pat Oesterle officiating. Burial and Miltary Graveside Service will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, West Jefferson. Military Honors by the West Jefferson V.F.W. Post # 7005 and American Legion Post #201.
