Died at his home, 115 East Gordon, in Topeka, where he had lived for the past 14 years.
Although he was born June 21, 1851 in Smithville, Missouri, he came to Kansas with his parents in 1857.He was a farmer in Jackson County, near Hoyt, for 50 years.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Bainbridge; 3 daughters and 2 sons: Mrs. Addie Plantze, Mrs. Frank Piper, Mrs. Leilia Sponheimer, W.A. Bainbridge, and E.D. Bainbridge; also two sisters: Mrs. George Richards and Mrs. Frank Stewart.
The funeral was held at the Muddy Creek Baptist church, with burial in the church cemetery.
