Dorothy Power, 95, of East Moline, died May 26, 2009 at her home. Funeral services were at Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline. Burial was in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Dorothy was born February 7, 1914 on the Rock Island Arsenal to Percy and Cora (Cox) Skelton. She married Hiram Blaker Power on June 29, 1935. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline where she was involved in their women's group. She was also a member of the Geneseo C.C. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed sewing, knitting, baking and socializing at the Colona Senior Center. She took great delight in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
