This Hannah Emmons married Samuel Tylee only. They had seven children. Samuel Tylee was a privateer in the Revolutionary War and died, it is said, by drowning in the Connecticut River at age 44. She did not remarry. She died at what was then called Kinderhook Landing, New York, which is now called Stuyvesant, New York.
Not to be confused with another Hannah Emmons who was the daughter of Samuel Emmons and Ruth Cone who was also born in East Haddam, CT, but in 1738 and married a William Cowdery.
