Amy Lynn Hudson, 15, of Springfield died Wednesday at St. Louis Children's Hospital after
a long illness. She was born Jan. 17, 1978, in Springfield, the daughter of Dr. Mark E.
and Karen J. Vasconcellos Hudson.
She was a sophomore at Springfield High School and was a member of the Art Club. She was
also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, American Paint Horse Association and the
Pinto Horse Association.
Surviving are her parents; grandparents, C.E. "Buster" and Donna J.
Vasconcellos of Springfield; great-grandmother, Helen Shaw of Auburn; and a brother, Ryan
at home.
