John Stanley Bachmurski, 39, of 309 Tindall Road, Lancaster Village, died yesterday in Delaware Division after a short illness. He suffered an apparent stroke.
Mr. Bachmurski, an amateur artist whose works have been in many local shows, and had been employed since 1965 by the James Julian contracting firm. He formerly worked for the Delaware State Highway Department for 19 years.
He was a veteran of World War II and served in Europe.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Sylvia Scheing Bachmurski; a son, Jay, 9, and a daughter, Meg, 6; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bachmurski of Wilmington, and a brother, Joseph of Washington, D.C.
Requiem Mass will be offered Friday morning at 9:30 in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Gilpin Ave. and Union St. Friends may call at the McCrery Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville, tomorrow night.
