He is the son of George Olnick and Elizabeth Maslar. He was born in KAJATA,HUNGARY now KOJATICE,SLOVAKIA. He came to the US in the early 1900's. He married Mary Jane Anderson in Sept 1914 and was the Father of 13 children. The family name is actually POLYAK. Some used OLEYNYIK POLYAK....the shortened version is the one our family took with a couple spelling variations including OLENICK.
