Mona Lee Thomas, 74, of Beardstown, Illinois, died Tuesday morning, May 26, 2009, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville, Illinois. She was born April 17, 1935, in Flora, Illinois, the daughter of Roy and Lucille Baker Graham. She married Glen Thomas on June 24, 1955, at the First Christian Church in Flora, Illinois, and he preceded her in death Oct. 10, 2003.

Surviving are her three sons, Allen Thomas of Jacksonville, Illinois, Steve (wife, Deanna) Thomas of Centralia, Illinois and Phil Thomas of Albuquerque, New Mexico; six grandchildren, Glen Allen and Jeremy, Michael, Nicole, Mark and LaRecia Thomas; and one sister, Margie Burris of Mayer, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Mona and her husband owned and operated Mona's Magic Mirror in Pawnee, Illinois for several years. She enjoyed cooking and sharing her meals with her friends. She was a faithful and dedicated member of the First Christian Church in Beardstown, Illinois, where she also taught Sunday school classes for children.

Services were entrusted to Sager Funeral Home of Beardstown, Illinois.
