Amy Elizabeth died on May 21, 2009. A bright and shining light, she brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. She touched many lives with her winning smile, quick wit and energetic personality. She was born and raised in McAllen, TX. After graduating with honors from McHi in 1999 she went on to attend Texas State University in San Marcos, TX for three years. Her love for life led her into the healthcare field so she continued her education and became a medical assistant, beginning her career in Austin.
She leaves behind her mother, Lynda Dickey; her brother, Christopher; maternal grandmother; her aunt, Susy Young; her uncle, Rob Young and her many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, F. Lee Dickey.
She was a victim of murder.
