Sacred to the memory of
Mrs. Sophia Phelps
the wife of Capt; Solomon Phelps &
daughter of Mr. Sam'l
Mather Esqr. & Mrs. Grace his wife who died
March 16th, 1794 in the
22nd year of her age.

A consort tender a parent dear
to none an enemy to all sincere
cheerful she lived & on the bed of death
submissivly she yielded up her breath.
