Services were Tues., Oct. 8 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair for Amy Steavenson Hunt, 91 of Rancho Sante Fe, Calif.

Amy Steavenson Hunt was born in Omaha Sept. 23, 1905. She attended school in Omaha and at the University of Nebraska. She later graduated in California with a degree in landscape design.

She married Dr. Carson Hunt Feb. 9, 1930. They lived in Laramie, Wyo; and Oakland, Napa and Encinitas, Calif.

She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; PEO and St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Del Mar, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nov. 27, 1987; her parents, Hugh and Grace Allen Steavenson and her brother, William Steavenson.

She is survived by a brother, Hugh Alfred Steavenson of Elsberry, Mo; a sister, Eloise Sullivan of Cheyenne, Wyo. and several nieces and nephews.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
