Darvin E. Bacon BAVARIA — Darvin E. Bacon, 77, Bavaria, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006. Mr. Bacon was born July 23, 1929, in Salina. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Isis Shrine Temple of Salina and the Shrine Engineer's Unit. He married Elaine Armstrong on April 25, 1951, in Salina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verne L. and Belle E. (Shute) Bacon. Survivors include his wife, Elaine, of Bavaria; two sons, Keith and Mark, both of Bavaria; a daughter, Jackie Bacon of Salina; and a grandson, Alex Bacon of Bavaria. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina. Ryan Mortuary obituary.
