Carlie D. Durbin, 60, of Ravenna, Kentucky, died Wednesday, 8 p.m. at Veterans Hospital, Lexington, after a long illness.
A native of Lee County, he was a retired auto mechanic. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Survivors: his mother, Mrs. J. M. Durbin, Ravenna; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Arvin, Waco, Mrs. Carlene Wiseman, Irvine; two sons, Charles Wayne Durbin, Jimmy Palmer, both of Ravenna; seven grandchildren.
Services, Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Cox Funeral Home, Irvine, Rev. Robert Marcum. Burial in the South Irvine Cemetery.
