OBITUARY
MRS. CHARLES BARK DIED SATURDAY P.M.
After months of suffering Mrs. C. W. Bark passed away at her home northeast of the village early Saturday evening. Last winter she suffered a stroke of paralysis and had been confined to the bed ever since. She was well thought of by those who knew her. Many will mourn her passing. The funeral was held Tuesday at the East Fork church with burial in the cemetery opposite.
Celia Gertrude Heald was born at Waverly, Michigan Nov. 7, 1848. She was married to William Moore in 1868 and to this union 4 children were born; three of them survive her. In 1876 she was married to Charley W. Bark on July 2. To this union was born six children; two having departed before her death. She died July 5th, 1924. She belonged to the Latter Day Saints, having joined them.

The 1855 census for Oswego, New York (see FamilySearch) has her elder brother James 10 born Michigan, Celia 8 and her younger brother Charles 5 born Wisconsin, and the next youngest George 2, born Oswego.
Celia's obituary says she was married to George William Moore in 1868 but she had a child born before that. Marriage record in Van Buren Co., Michigan gives marriage date of May 18, 1862. In the 1870 census for Millbrook, Mecosta Co., Michigan Celia and George are together. In the 1880 census there is a George Moore age 52 years living in Big Rapids, Michigan as a border. Marital status not listed. In about 1876 Celia married Charles Bark and George Moore married Margaret Campbell in 1884. It appears possibly that George and Celia divorced but I don't have proof of this and I'm not able to find George's burial information.
The family (according to a bio of George) moved to Michigan in 1858 so the children may have grown up with the idea that those states were their home states.
