Lois Hearon
Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Hearon, 92, of Ethel will be held Saturday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m. at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New Hope Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, Jan. 15, 5-7 p.m.
Mrs. Hearon, a native of Attala County, died Jan. 14, 2010 at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy (Judy) Hearon and James (Martha) Hearon, both of Ethel; sisters, Mildred Barnett of Carthage, Hazel Miller of Kosciusko, and Goldie Ables of Lexington; six grandchildren, Sharmon Sanders (Sandy) of Sheridan, AR, Ginger Threadgill of Ackerman, Angie Watkins (Joey) of Ethel, Zack Nail (Tollie) of Clinton, Luke Nail (Ashleigh) of Ethel and Allen Hearon of Ethel; five great-grandchildren, Wil Sanders, Walt Sanders, Wriley Sanders, Tanner Threadgill, Reeves Threadgill.
Rev. George Pitts and Rev. Walter Hines will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers are Zack Nail, Luke Nail, Wil Sanders, Walt Sanders, Allen Hearon, Randy Hearon and Tanner Threadgill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis "Shorty" Hearon.
