Gilbert B. Hubbuch Sr., 87, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2003, at Green Meadow Health Care Center. He was a retired driver for National Distillers and a former police officer and fire chief with the City of Jeffersontown. Survivors include his wife, the former Lena Powell; a daughter and son-in-law, Monya and Jim Mills; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert B. and Judy Hubbuch Jr. of Daytona, FL, Raymond J. and Carol Hubbuch of Taylorsville, KY and David P. and Jan Hubbuch; 17 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. His funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Rd., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman's Family Owned Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Rd.
