He passed away April 17, 2016 from suicide. We are heart broken.

Debra Barwick, 41 of Valdosta, Georgia died on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006, at Emory Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta after a lengthy illness.
Debbie had ulcerative colitis. She had her colon removed in 2004 and developed serious complications. She was in Atlanta Medical Center ICU from Oct 9 until Dec 31, 2004. Sixty nine days of this was on a ventilator and twenty four days in a coma. She had ten chest tubes at one time. She had Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and was septic. She was given a 10% chance of survival. Through prayer and the grace of God she lived and came home to be with her family. The last of Nov. 2005 Debbie developed a blockage to her ileostomy and was in the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia until Dec. 22, 2005 and was released for just a few days. She got to spend the holiday with her family. On Dec. 27, 2005, she was re-admitted to hospital and transferred to Atlanta for another surgery. The surgery was difficult because the small intestine had adherred to the tube of the bladder. She again developed another leak into the abdominal cavity. She spent this time in ICU in the same condition again, being septic and with ARDS. This time her body was so weak that she suffered a massive stroke and was brain dead. We waited for other family members to reach Atlanta and then the ventilator was removed. She never took a breath.
God had seen fit to give her some time with her family the year earlier, but this time he took her home to be with him. She was a beautiful young lady and had a beautiful singing voice. She was a member of the singing group "Southern Sensations" in high school.
Debbie was born on June 22, 1964, in Thomasville,Alabama. She was a certified nursing assistant and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her parents, two sons, a sister, a niece and a nephew, her Grandfather Bruce Barwick and a host of aunts and uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial was in Dasher Cemetery, next to her Granny Cuba Wisenbaker
who loved her very much. Debbie was also preceded in death by her loved Grandpa Louis Wisenbaker

The following tribute was picked by Debbie's sister for her memorial service program:

When I'm Gone
When I come to the end of my journey and I travel my last weary mile, just forget if you can that I ever frowned and remember only the smile. Forget unkind words that I have spoken; remember some good that I have done, forget that I ever had heartache and remember that I've had loads of fun. Forget that I've stumbled and blundered and sometimes fell by the way. Remember I have fought some hard battles and won ere the close of the day. Then forget to grieve for my going, I would not have you sad for a day, but in summer just gather some flowers, and remember the place where I lay, and come in the shade of the evening, when the sun paints the sky in the west, Stand for a few moments beside me, And remember only my best.
