Obituary

Lucy Medford, 84, died Feb. 18, 1997 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Waynesville, NC. She was born July 13 1912 in Haywood County, NC and had formerly resided in the Camas area. She was a welder in the shipyards during World War II and was retired from the Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in Camas. Survivors include her son Jack Bryson of Wilmington, NC, her foster son Loyal Johnson of Washougal, five grandchildren nine great-grandchildren: and two great-great-grandchildren A service was held Feb 21 in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville, NC. Burial was in Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Waynesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Box 371 Vancouver, WA 98668.
