LEBANON -- Betty J. Vaughan, 71, of Lebanon died Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis.
Born in Greenville, Miss., she was the daughter of Audy and Ethel (Ingram) Reynolds. She married Clarence N. Vaughan in Lebanon on June 20, 1948. Her husband died March 6, 2002.
Mrs. Vaughan was a homemaker who enjoyed her family.
Surviving are sons Ronald and Alvin, both of Lebanon, Kenneth of Coburg, Steven of Redmond, Timothy of Portland and Cory of Anchorage, Alaska; brothers Melvin Reynolds of Arizona and Floyd Reynolds of Winlock, Wash.; and sisters Imagene Coleman of Bend and Joyce Lawrence of Redding, Calif.
There are 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by grandson Kenneth Vaughan, brother Arlie Reynolds and sister Mary Reynolds.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Huston-Jost Funeral Home. Private burial will be at the Lebanon IOOF Cemetery.
