A series of illness, which started with measles caused the death Wednesday of Susan Eugenia Fernald 7, daughter of Mr & Mrs Frank Fernald. In an Omaha Hospital for 5 weeks, the child was taken to a Rochester, MN hospital a week ago. Bronchial pneumonia and an infection of the membrane of the brain were blamed for her death.
The Fernald's have another child, Franklin 2. Mr. Fernald is claim manager, supreme forest, Woodmen Circle.
The body was brought to the Fitch McEachron & Cole Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Miller Park Presbyterian church, where Susan attended Sunday school. Burial will be at Forest Lawn.
