Mrs. Lavina Pearce Wolfe, 85, of 1622 N. Columbus st., Lancaster, died Sunday afternoon in Lancaster- Fairfield County Hospital.
The widow of Bertie F. Wolfe, she was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Lotruse Class of the church, Pleasant Grange, Farm Bureau Council and Olivedale Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include a niece, Miss Virginia Pearce, Lancaster; three nephews Charles and Thomas Pearce, Lancaster, and Harry Pearce, Dayton; great-nieces and great-nephews; two step-daughters, Mrs. R. L. (Nola) Speice, Columbus, and Mrs. Blanche Pickard Sharp, Cuyahoga Falls; one step -son, Merrill Wolfe, Baltimore; seven step-grandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren. Service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Halteman-Fett Funeral Home, the Rev. John E. Kingsburg officiating; burial in Forest Rose Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. The family suggests contributions be made to Grace United Church of Christ Building Fund.
