Rachel Webb, 79, of Mason Hall, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Concord Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at New Concord Baptist Church in Kenton with the Rev. Johnny Witherspoon officiating. Burial will be New Concord Cemetery in Kenton.

The family will receive visitors at 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern and at 9 a.m. Friday at the church.

Survivors include three daughters, Sheila Gunnells of Mason Hall, Cheryl Paulson of Chesterton, Ind. and Marilyn Smarr of Hobart, Ind.; three sons, Charlie Webb and Jeff Webb, both of Portage, Ind. and Tony Webb of Crownpoint, Ind.; two brothers, Ralph Kiser of Cloverdale and Wendell Kiser of Mason Hall; 10 grandchildren, one of which is Koko Webb of Mason Hall; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Daniel Webb; a daughter, Rita Kay Webb; her parents, Marlie T. Kiser and Nora Lee Dillan Kiser; and five sisters, Pearl Kiser, Maedell Dean, Verner Webster, Exie Kiser and Johnnie Grace James.

Pallbearers will be Tony Webb, Charlie Webb, Jeff Webb, Christopher Smarr, Timothy Webb and Jeffery M. Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas James and Mike James.
