COLEMAN (RNS) - L. E. Browning, 63, of Valera, died Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. in a local rest home.
Funeral is pending at Stevens Funeral Home.
He was born April 18, 1907, and worked with Wholesale Mobile Products in Valera. He was a member of Valera Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife.

COLEMAN (RNS) - Funeral for L. E. Browning, 63, of Valera, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Stevens Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Martin, pastor of Valera Baptist Church, officiating assisted by the Rev. Jack Skelton, Baptist minister.
Burial will be in Valera Cemetery.
Mr. Browning died at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in a local rest home where he had been a patient since November, 1970.
Mr. Browning was born April 18, 1907, in Hill County. He married Mary Beck March 1, 1932, in Waxahachie. He was a retired Mobile Oil consignee in Valera. He was the son of the late T. M. Browning and Alta Keller Browning. He was a deacon and member of the Valera Baptist church.
Survivors are his wife of Valera; four daughters, Mrs. Janie Avants of Santa Anna, and Mrs. Evanet Gallant, Mrs. Chris Brimer, and Mrs. Helen Nunn, all of Ballinger; one son, Harold of the U. S. Navy; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Wright of Odessa and Mrs. Adelle Busby of Dallas.
