BENJAMIN F. SCHAAF
Benjamin F. Schaaf, husband of the late Mrs. Mary Trouts Schaaf, died yesterday at his home, 632 Brunswick Avenue, following a brief illness.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edward Andrews of Trenton; two sons, Chief Petty Officer Raymond H. Schaaf of the coast guard and Sergeant Benjamin F. Schaaf Jr. on the high seas with the army; a brother, Raymond Schaaf of Milford; three sisters, Miss Clara Schaaf of Washington D. C., Mrs. Harry Fasks of Trenton and Mrs. Jack C. Gariott, Bakersfield, Ca., and two grandchildren.
Schaaf had been a freight engineer with the Pennsylvania Railroad Company. He held membership in the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen and the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief.
The funeral will be held from the Poulson and Van Hise Home for Services, 408 Bellevue Avenue, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Elmer Walker, pastor of Ewing Presbyterian Church. Friends may call tomorrow evening.
