Janet Lorraine Wilkerson, 83, entered into rest May 25, 2009, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Towson, Md. She was the wife of Raymond L. Wilkerson, Sr.
She was born June 8, 1925, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Bailey) Stevens.
Mrs. Wilkerson retired from Greater Baltimore Medical Center after serving 20 years as a medical secretary.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and raised her two grandchildren, Timothy R. and Adam Wilkerson, following the death of her son, Timothy S. Wilkerson.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Raymond L. Wilkerson, Jr., of Glen Rock; a daughter, Janice Sheehan and her husband, James of Tampa, Fla.; grandchildren, Timothy R. and Adam Wilkerson, Parkton, Brooks and Molly Wilkerson, all of Glen Rock, Kelly McKenna of Mechanicsburg and Jason McKenna and his wife, Kim of York.; and great-grandchildren, Bailey, Reese and Colbie McKenna. She was predeceased by a son, Timothy; and a brother, Charles Stevens.
Following cremation, interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, New Freedom.
