Glen Parker
DERRY -- Glen Roy Parker, 60, died May 13, 2009, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Mass.
He was born in Lowell, Mass., Dec. 2, 1948, the son of Irvin and Doris (Leonard) Parker.
Mr. Parker was a resident of Plaistow for most of his life before moving to Derry in February. He worked as a dishwasher at Eggies Diner in Plaistow for many years before his retirement.
He loved to golf and go bowling.
IN HIS LIFE: Family members include his longtime companion, Mary Dooley of Derry; an aunt, Helen Harris of New Hampshire; a cousin, Wayne Parker of New Hampshire; and his many friends and staff members at Crochet Mountain Rehabilitation Center, whom he considered his family.
SERVICES: Calling hours are in Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Urn burial will take place at later date in Gibson Cemetery, Pelham.
