She was born Dec. 13, 1924, in Belleville, Ill., and resided in Englewood until August of this year. She worked at General Electric in Tell City, Ind., for 20 years.
After leaving G.E., she went to nursing school and graduated in 1972. She worked in nursing for 25 years. She worked at Warrick Hospital in Boonville, Ind., and Charlotte Community Mental Health Services in Punta Gorda. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a half sister, Claudetta King of Evansville, Ind.; an uncle, John Blocher of Maceo, Ky.; and two nieces.
Graveside services and burial will be Saturday in Trinity Church Cemetery in Fulda, Ind. Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City, Ind., is in charge.
