Adrian Blair Hall, 91, of the Goshen area, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living Center.

He was born July 8, 1913, to Elbert M. and Lula Alice Hall, in Wilkesboro, N.C. When he was about 14 months old, his parents brought him to the Moreland area in Idaho. He attended schools in Moreland, Spencer and Wendell, Idaho.

Adrian served in the Army Air Forces during World War II, taking basic training at Sheppard Field, Texas. He served as a guard at Geiger Field near Spokane, Wash., before being shipped to England. He served with the 454th Bomb Squadron in England, France, Germany and Austria. He was a member of the 454 Bomb Squadron Association.

On Dec. 1, 1949, Adrian married Frances Conley in Venice, Calif. He purchased a farm on the Goshen Road south of Shelley, Idaho, where he raised cattle, hay and grain.
Adrian enjoyed hunting in the fall of the year, as well as herding cattle in that same season, and going to Jackpot to try his luck. Adrian was a member of the Firth Posse and a life member of the VFW. When he lived in the Spencer area, Adrian collected Indian arrow-heads from that area, and had a nice collection of artifacts. He enjoyed country music and made tapes on his karaoke machine.

Adrian is survived by his wife, Frances; three sons, Allen (Amy) Hall of Idaho Falls, Howard (Priscilla) Hall of Los Alamos, N.M., and Tom (Kathy) Hall of Bellevue, Neb.; two granddaughters; six grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and three great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak, in Shelley, with the Rev. Terry Petty officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Wednesday before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery with military rites performed by Post 004 and Jefferson County Veterans Team
