Marshall D. (Red) Wilson, 72, R.R.2, Rushville, died Wednesday at 11.55 p.m. at the Rush Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Wilson was born Sept. 19, 1908, in Rush County, the son of Donald C. and Mayme Benedict Wilson. He was married to Mary Ella Daubensteck Nov. 24, 1938, and she survives, with two sons: Dwight Marshall Wilson, Rushville and Gary Lynn Wilson, R.R.2, Rushville; two daughters: Barbara Joan Shields, R.R.4, Greensburg and Susan Russell, Columbus; four grandchildren and one step-grandchild.
He was a member of the New Salem Methodist Church and the Orange Masonic Lodge, No. 234. He was a retired farmer.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Wyatt Funeral Home in Rushville with the Rev. Victor Koontz officiating and with burial in the East Hill Cemetery.
