LAGRANGE — Audrey M. White, 96, of LaGrange died Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
Mrs. White had retired as a nurses' aide from LaGrange Hospital. She had moved to LaGrange in 1965 from Coldwater, Mich. She loved cats and had a special place in her heart for them.
She was born April 14, 1911, in Boyne Falls, Mich., to Charles and Syble (Waltrous) Cross. She married Arthur G. White in 1948 in Angola. He died June 6, 1958.
Surviving are three nieces, Caralee and John Mayer of Sturgis, Mich., Christine and Tom Finland of Georgia and Rita and Leon Elam of California; two nephews, Michael and Betty Cross of New Mexico and David and Roberta Cross of California; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Syble Ethelyn Price; two brothers, Charles Hartford Cross and Douglas A. Cross; a nephew, Fred E. Price; and a niece, Sandra Price.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at LaGrange.
