Although the headstone says Lula was born in 1881, this is an error. She was born 28 Sep 1871 in Iowa, the fourth child of Henry Ward Feese and Margaret Davidson. According to the 1900 Federal Census she married in the year 1889 (at the age of 18) to John August Josephson (1865-1946). The 1880 census clearly shows Lula as residing in Plevna, Reno, Kansas with her parents and siblings. Her birth information is also listed in US Federal Census records for 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930, & 1940. She died in Hutchinson.
