LITTLE RIVER -- Aureta V. Jenkins, 71, of Little River, died Monday at Hutchinson Hospital. Born Nov. 19, 1908, in Tyro, she married John A. Jenkins on Oct. 10, 1927.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors: widower, of home; son: John C., Windom; daughters: Mrs. Jacinta Mae Davis, Lawrence; Mrs. Jean Corkins, Hutchinson; Shirley Jenkins, Kansas City, Mo.; sister Mrs. Herbert Kutnink, Moundridge; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Elliott Chapel, the Rev. James Tilsley. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
