Aaron's will was probated in 1752 in Hartford, but he states in the will that he is a resident of New London. He leaves property/money to sons John and Stephen and to daughter Rhoda. We have a record that on September 23 of 1743 Lieut. Martin Dewey bought from Aaron land with a house (formerly belonging to Aaron's brother, Daniel).
Aaron was a son of Quartermaster John Gunn and Mary Williams, and the husband of Esther Dewey (1698-1744), a daughter of Captain Adijah Dewey and Sarah Root. Aaron and Esther had 5 children: Aaron, Ann, John, Stephen, and Rhoda.
