Mrs. Daniel Tarr Claimed by Death
Mrs. Rosa Tarr, 57, died at 11:30 Wednesday night at her home one-and one-half miles south of Mt. Etna. Death was attributed to complications following a six-month illness.
Mrs. Tarr was born in Jackson township Sept. 10, 1891, to Isaac and Katie Blair Jones. Her marriage was to Dan Tarr on Jan. 11, 1908 in Wells county.
She was a member of the Liberty Center Methodist church.
Surviving are the husband; seven daughters, Mrs. Howard Falk, rural route Bluffton, Mrs. Orville Humerickhouse of Rockford, O., Mrs. Norman Schaffer, of Geneva, Mrs. Ora Humerickhouse, of Willshire, O., Mrs. Robert Elliott, of Hartford City, and Mary and Emma Tarr, both at home; five sons, Oscar Tarr, Mojave, Calif., Floyd Tarr, Lima, O., Omar Tarr and Jesse Tarr, both of Hartford City rural route, Daniel Tarr, at home; one sister, Mrs. Jacob McFarren, of Oklahoma; a brother, Frank Jones, Skellytown, Texas; a half-brother, Emmis Jones, Iowa; a stepsister, Mrs. Jon Lehman, Gas City, and 13 grandchildren. Three daughters and one sister are deceased.
The body will be taken from the Jahn funeral home to the residence where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday at the Liberty Center Methodist church, with Rev. A. Ray Noland officiating, with Rev. Weaver assisting. Burial will be in the Mossburg cemetery.

One other child (besides those listed) died when 5 weeks old, b. 1912, d. 31 Mar 1912, buried in Mossburg Cemetery, Wells County, Indiana.
