Funeral for Ruth Sivley Glenn, 89, of Decatur will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Caudle officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Glenn died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at Magnolia Manor. She was born Sept. 22, 1912, in Morgan County. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Paul H. Glenn Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Eugene Glenn of Hillsboro, Howell Glenn of Waynesville, N.C., and Ed Glenn of Greenville, N.C.; one daughter, Mary Glenn Carpenter of Orlando, Fla; one sister, Anne Laura Sivley of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
