Funeral for Paul Howell Glenn, Sr, 86, of Decatur will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Caudle officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the chapel an hour before the service.
Mr. Glenn died Wednesday at his home. He was born May 29, 1907, in Lawrence County and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth S. Glenn; three sons, Eugene Glenn of Decatur, Howell Glenn of Clearwater, Fla and Ed Glenn of Greenville, N.C.; one daughter, Mary Glenn Carpenter of Orlando, Fla; three sisters, Mable Glenn Anderson of Florence, Catherine Glenn Goode of Huntsville and Cynthia Glenn Shirley of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews will be pallbearers.
