Funeral for Cynthia Ruth Shirley, 55, of Decatur was to be today at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Champion officiating.
Burial was to be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Miss Shirley died Wednesday, August 16, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born January 1, 1945, in Pensacola, Fla to Dewitt Shirley and Cynthia Glenn Shirley. Her hobbies included drawing and playing the piano.
Survivors include her mother of Decatur; two brothers, Charles Shirley and Jim Shirley, both of Marietta, Ga; and three sisters, Susan Browning of Montgomery, Laura Percer of Huntsville and Margaret Wiginton of Warrior.
