NEW SHARON -- Forrest H. Fortney, 62, Montgomery, Minn., former resident of Oskaloosa, died Wednesday evening at Minneapolis.
He was the son of John and Bessie Jenkins Fortney.
Surviving are his wife; and three daughters, Carol Ann Thomas, Minnetonka, Minn., Mrs. Claude Lee, Danube, Minn., Peggy Lyn of Mankato, Minn.; and three gandchildren.
Other survivors include two sisters, Martha Meinders, Ottumwa and Luella MCKinsey of Oskaloosa; four brothers, Afton, Fremont, Robert, Oskaloosa, nelson, Kingman, Ariz., Lowell of Cornville, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Harden Funeral Home at New Sharon with burial at New Sharon.
Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. Monday.
